Hi, I'm Tessa
A licensed esthetician specializing in inflammatory skin conditions including acne, rosacea, and compromised barrier health. My own inflammatory skin concerns (including grade 2 acne, severe neurogenic rosacea and perioral dermatitis) have been some of my biggest teachers in understanding and treating problematic skin. My mission is to provide you with treatment-quality skincare staples that leave no delicate tissue untreated, and gently heal the root cause of most skincare problems… inflammation.
In my client work, addressing barrier function is always the first step toward skin wellness. Our skin's protective lipid layer is the foundation for its overall function... It actually sends signals to the underlying living epidermis and influences the regenerative processes in deeper layers of the skin. When the barrier is healthy and intact at baseline, we allow the skin's own therapeutic actions to work from the outer layers of the
epidermis, inward.
